What Your Donation Could Buy
$100 - Organizing one Sip of Science educational talk. This series of presentations covers topics such as the nesting raft for terns and skimmers, or the composting initiative Go Green OC.
$200 - 1 week of Water Quality Testing for the Tidal Waters Monitoring Program which collects bacteria counts from 11 sites in our Coastal Bays watershed. The data is then uploaded to the Swim Guide app, making these results accessible to the public every week. This testing helps to raise awareness of human health impacts in our local waters and communities.
$350 - Preparation of one monthly Coast Kids family event. Coast Kids members and friends are invited to experience what nature has to offer by kayaking, bird banding, or building nesting boxes for native bees.
$500 - General support of our Coastkeeper work, this helps fund the Coastkeeper's time preparing local commentary of proposals, legislative meetings and comments on bills, as well as funds outreach work, such as community talks and group presentations.
